David Plaza is a veteran investigator and risk consultant with over 25 years of experience in law enforcement, military police, and corporate protection operations.
He began his career in the United States Marine Corps as a Military Police Officer, where he earned a Top Secret clearance, drafted law enforcement policy, and served on the personal protection detail for high-ranking military officials at Quantico.
Following his military service, David spent over 15 years as a police officer and detective in Alaska and Washington, specializing in criminal investigations, sexual assault cases, and child abuse. He served as a department liaison for Homeland Security’s Counter-Terrorism Fusion Center and was selected to join the Alaska State Troopers’ Sexual Assault Response Task Force.
In 2021, David transitioned to the corporate security world, where he provided threat intelligence, human behavior analysis, and executive protection coordination for high-profile clients across the U.S. and internationally. He is certified as a Counterintelligence Threat Analyst, with specialized training in HUMINT, OSINT, workplace violence mitigation, and digital vulnerability assessments.
Today, David works directly with individuals, creators, professionals, and small business owners to assess personal risk, identify vulnerabilities, and develop proactive, real-world strategies to stay safe – online and off.
